DIY SOLAR CITRUS Diffusers with Floral Essential Oils

DIY SOLAR CITRUS Diffusers with Floral Essential Oils

Solar citrus diffusers invite the gentle energy of spring into your home, using the warmth of sunlight to naturally awaken and release essential oils. This simple, sensory craft honors the shift into longer, brighter days while helping to refresh your space with aromas that soothe and support the nervous system.

A blend of Ylang-ylang, Night Blooming Jasmine, and Rose Geranium creates a layered, botanical fragrance that's softly floral, lightly sweet, and beautifully grounding. Together, these oils encourage calm, uplift the mood, and bring a sense of emotional balance and clarity.

As sunlight warms the dried citrus slices and porous lava beads, the oils slowly diffuse into the air, creating a subtle, evolving scent experience throughout the day. Both decorative and functional, this diffuser captures the essence of spring - freshness, renewal, and gentle awakening - while adding a natural, light-filled touch to your space.

This is a beautifully unique way to use our essential oils collection, known for its organic, sustainably sourced, and unadulterated botanicals that honor both traditional plant wisdom and modern ritual.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

Thinly slice a variety of citrus fruits and dry them completely using a dehydrator or the lowest setting on your oven.

Once fully dried, hand sew them into a garland, incorporating lava beads and crystal beads that catch the light.

Add a few drops of essential oil directly to both the citrus slices and lava beads, allowing the scent to slowly release as the sun warms them.
