Wild Dagga has been shown to have diverse activities; it's a strong anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-oxidant, anticonvulsant, and anthelmintic. Although traditionally the herb is smoked for its euphoric and calming effects, the tea or extract can greatly assist as an anti-anxiety and as a relaxant.
In both North and South American herbal medicine systems, mulungu is considered to be an excellent sedative to help calm agitation, mood disorders, chronic stress, and to treat other nervous system problems including insomnia, anxiety and even epilepsy. It has also been widely used for asthma, bronchitis, inflammation of the liver and spleen, intermittent fevers, and to clear obstructions in the liver.
Elephant's Head is a nervine, or nervous system decompressant, native to North America. It’s long been used as musculo-skeletal relaxant, commonly used for aches and pains, back shoulder and neck pain, sore muscles, for deep recovery, and as a muscle relaxant and antispasmodic.
