Our Collagen Elixir is generally considered safe for menopausal women and those with IBD, but as each person is unique we all respond to herbs uniquely as well: what works for one person might not work for another! We recommend taking a pause from any herbs that you are taking consistently on a daily basis to give your body a chance to adjust to its new normal. So, after a couple months of daily use, you could take one week off and then resume again. Or, you could take one day off every week if that works better for you.
