🌑🌔🌕🌖🌘 Lunar gardening is the original permaculture. Planting by the phases of the Moon may sound like a mystical idea, but it’s also an ancient, time-tested way of working in alignment with nature’s rhythms. If you’re skeptical that a chunk of rock over 200,000 miles from us could impact how plants grow, consider this: It’s all about water. Like the Moon pulls the ocean tides, it also influences groundwater and the water within seeds and plants. During the new and full moons, water is drawn upward—seeds absorb more, and growth accelerates. 📅 April Moon Gardening Guide (via the Farmer’s Almanac): 🔨 April 6–9: Clear weeds + pests. 🌾 April 10–12: Plant grains, flowers, tomatoes, squash, corn. Root crops on the 12th. 🌿 April 13–14: Great for transplanting leafy greens + root veggies. 🚫 April 15–17: Barren days. Don’t plant. 🥕 April 18–19: Root crops like carrots + onions thrive. 🔥 April 20–22: Weed + harvest. 🍓 April 23–24: Transplant vine crops + set strawberries. 🛠️ April 25–26: Break ground or harvest. 🌽 April 27–28: Plant aboveground crops. ⛔ April 29–30: Seeds may rot. Let the earth rest. Let’s sum it up: Root crops (like potatoes + beets) thrive as the Moon wanes, while leafy and fruiting plants (like lettuce + tomatoes) flourish during the waxing Moon. But there’s more: the Moon’s zodiac placement matters, too. Earth + water signs like Taurus and Pisces are fertile; fire + air signs like Leo and Gemini are less so. Does your garden follow the stars? We hope you’re finding ways to stay rooted throughout the 29.5-day lunar cycle, tapping into your intuition, slow living, and cosmic frequencies. 🌙✨ #lunargardening #farmersalmanac #animamundi #gardening #astrology #moon #zodiac #permaculture #fullmoon #newmoon #waningmoon #waxingmoon #fertile

Do you know that drinking water or a tea (non caffeinated) after a massage is highly recommended? It helps the body eliminate substances that we release during massage. When we are massaged, the circulatory and blood system starts, producing the elimination of sweat, minerals and other substances from the muscle cells. By supplying water to the body once the massage is finished, it helps to eliminate these substances; otherwise they could be accumulated between the muscle fibers and cause muscle pain. Psychologically, drinking a cup of tea after the relaxation of the massage helps us to return gradually to the earth. If the experience has been very relaxing the mind can really fly very far and at the end of the massage many of us feel somewhat disoriented. Drinking a good tea, will help you return to reality in a smooth and pleasant way. Enjoy! 🍵 🙏

Brain health is more critical than ever✨🧠, with neurodegenerative diseases on the rise, often linked to climate change 🌊. But there’s hope! Our brains are incredibly adaptable—reorganizing and forming new neural connections in response to learning, experience, and injury. As neuroscientist Andrew Huberman of Stanford University says, “Our brains are plastic, and we have the ability to change and shape them throughout our entire lives.” 🧘🏽‍♀️ This remarkable ability is called neuroplasticity, and it’s essential for everything from memory and understanding to recovery from trauma and skill-building. Neuroplasticity supports human resilience and cognitive health 💪🏼, allowing us to grow and adapt. Even more exciting is that neuroplasticity can be enhanced through specific lifestyle choices, diet, and natural interventions. One powerful way to support brain health is through herbal nootropics—plant-based compounds that naturally boost cognitive function, mental clarity, and resilience. 🧬✨ This week on the blog, we’re diving deep into these incredible natural brain boosters. 🪻🌱 Head to our stories to explore nine scientifically backed herbal nootropics and their benefits. We also cover holistic approaches to optimizing brain health, why nootropics are a safer alternative to “smart drugs,” and how to make them part of your wellness routines. 🌞🌞 Do you use nootropics to support brain health? Tell us in the comments! #nootropics #neuroplasticity #neurology #brainhealth #brainbooster #herbalmedicine #herbalism #herbalist #lionsmane #ginkgo #gotukola #rhodiola #herbs

Stress in the 21st century is no joke. 🌀As human residents of this beautiful planet, most of us are being bombarded with a wide array of toxicity from all directions. Many of us often forget that stress doesn’t just come from a busy life or emotional overwhelm, stress can come equally as strong from a biological inheritance, environmental toxicity, agricultural chemicals, exposure to heavy metals, electro-smog, and viruses.🩸 Ok here’s a loving reminder + ways to manage stress hormones…with practices and herbal support: First off, WE ACTUALLY NEED THEM. Secondly, CERTAINLY NOT 24/7 ❤️‍🩹 1. Research shows that intentional breathwork 👃🏽can reduce stress and lower cortisol levels. Try pairing it with Holy Basil, which eases stress, or fellow adaptogens, which are known to release tension + promote relaxation. 2. When you feel scattered 😵‍💫grounding foods like root vegetables + herbal tonics can anchor your energy. Astragalus builds resilience, while Maca restores vitality. 3. Studies suggest that poor sleep 💤 increases cortisol, the body’s primary stress hormone, making recovery harder. Use herbal allies like Passionflower and Ashwagandha, whom assist restless nights. 4. Physical movement🧘🏽‍♀️ is a powerful way to clear stress hormones like adrenaline. Incorporate herbs like Turmeric and Ginger, which have been shown to reduce inflammation and boost circulation. 5. Studies show that dehydration can increase feelings of anxiety. 🌿Replenish with Nettle, a mineral-rich herb that supports hydration, or Horsetail, which helps nourish + strengthen. 6. Research suggests that social connection boosts oxytocin ❤️ "the love hormone." Whether you’re spending time with loved ones or connecting with nature, open your heart with herbs like Rose * Hawthorn. 7. Decluttering 🫧improves focus and invites tranquility. Draw upon Lemon Balm or Gotu Kola to foster clarity and cognitive resilience. Save and share this post to start using these simple practices to tell your body it’s safe and capable of healing. #stressrelief #survivalmode #holistichealing #plantmedicine #animamundi

Do you see auras? Or have you ever taken a picture of your aura? Auras are thought to be energetic layers that surround our physical body. Ancient systems of medicine, such as Hindu scriptures like the Vedas, believe that this energy is expressed in seven layers. Each layer is said to correlate to a different element of your physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health. What are the 7 layers of the aura? 1. Physical aura plane - is the layer that represents our physical health. It’s the layer closest to your skin. It’s also called the etheric plane. 2. Emotional aura plane: is the emotional plane. This one is said to change in colors the most as it matches the motional state. 3. Mental aura plane: this plane has to do with logic, reasoning, and thoughts. It’s the third layer out from your body. 4. Astral body aura plane: Moving outward, this plane deals with your spiritual health. It’s also where we store our capacity to give and receive love. 5. Etheric aura plane: this reflects your psychic abilities. Having a clear etheric plane helps you tap into other people’s energy and connect with people who are on a similar wavelength. 6.Celestial aura plane: this is the plane where your dreams and intuition are stored. It’s also the plane of enlightenment; someone with a strong celestial aura plane tends to be highly creative. 7.Causal aura plane: This is the last plane. It harmonizes all the other layers and essentially helps guide you on your life’s path. Today’s write up is all about ‘How to Cleanse the Aura’ 📖 Find via stories and bio. #aura #wellnessjourney #energyfield #auriccleansing #clarity #intuition #energyhealing #energymedicine #mindbodysoul #apothecary

Have you heard about 🧬 methylation? Before you keep scrolling, we beg of you... don’t let the jargon of “DNA methylation” intimidate you!🧚🏼‍♂️ This week on the blog, we break down this fundamental process in simple language to illuminate its significant impact on our health. We’re also sharing some critical information about the role that specific herbs can play in regulating the methylation cycle. We want to encourage you to find new (and ancient) pathways to enhance your overall health and well-being, reduce the risk of chronic diseases, and improve your quality of life🌿 Still with us?🙈 OK so, what’s DNA methylation anyway? DNA methylation involves attaching a small chemical group known as a methyl group to a DNA molecule. This process helps control how our genes are turned ON or OFF. Think of it like a dimmer switch on a light—methylation adjusts the brightness of gene activity💫 Proper methylation can play a preventive role in various diseases by controlling the expression of genes associated with conditions like cancer, cardiovascular disease, neurodegenerative disorders, and autoimmune conditions. By ensuring optimal methylation, the body can better regulate inflammation, repair DNA damage, and maintain general cellular wellness💗 Tap the link in bio + stories to keep reading about epigenetics, methylation-balancing herbal adaptogens, and a few extra special updates about our new apothecary offerings (email subscribers will be the first to know)!🪷 #dnamethylation #wellness #healthandwellness #healing #herbalhealing #herbalism #fyp
