Love Bubble: A Sacred Cacao Ceremony

Gather with us on Saturday, October 5th from 7:30pm-9pm at our Venice Apothecary to open your heart with the sacred plant, Cacao.

This ceremony will be a loving and deep introduction to the sacred and ancient medicine of Cacao, a medicinal elixir used throughout central and South America for its heart opening properties. All plant spirits require reverence and respect so we will first establish our connection with the plant in order to understand how she can work with us to expand and connect the universal heart with the wisdom of our inner landscapes. Through our ceremony we will create the 'love bubble,' this space where unconditional love thrives. The ceremony will take us on a journey through breath, visualization, movement and intentional connection with the heart. Cacao is a beautiful conduit, guiding us back to our hearts and moving through our internal waterways as an essential channel in remembering who we truly are, a divine connection to all that exists. Come join us, as we gather around the fire and create your own love bubble, a sacred space where love lives.

Alanna works closely with the heart opening medicine of cacao, gently leading people through the sacred process of ceremony. Upon discovering the ritual of cacao in Tulum, Alanna began deepening her practices of self love and gratitude. She realized that this plant medicine has the power to shift consciousness through a deeper connection with ourselves and in turn our communities. This inner-knowing took her further into the jungles of Guatemala where she spent time living among the cacao trees, spending countless hours with the people of these ancient communities and delving into a multitude of expansive learning opportunities. She continues her deep devotion to the medicine, spending most of her time in the jungle connecting with the plant spirit and expanding her knowledge, reverence, and appreciation of this divine teacher. Through her moving ceremonies you will get to work with the medicine through a variety of healing modalities. Meditation, breath, movement, music, and other heart expanding elements are tools that are activated within her ceremonies, gently guiding us back to our hearts.
