Join us at the Alchemist Kitchen Elixir Bar in SoHo on Tuesday April 28th at 7pm with author Luis Mojica for an intimate evening talk about his new book Food Therapy: Conscious Eating to Navigate Anxiety, Stress, and Trauma.

Join Luis Mojica, somatic educator and author sits down in conversation with Daniel Maté to explore food as a tool for nervous system repair and trauma recovery.

Food is the most powerful yet overlooked resource for regulation, both on the therapist couch and in our everyday lives. Together, Luis and Daniel will discuss key parts of the book, including how healing is interrupted by food-induced stress, glucose imbalance, and adrenaline — but also how the intersection of somatics, trauma education, and food as medicine can bring balance back to a body in overwhelm.

Luis will also do a short reading and Q&A, with book signing at the end of the evening.

Ticket includes:

  • Book talk & Q&A
  • Discussion
  • Herbal tea
  • 15% off Anima Mundi products in store

Some copies of the book will be available for purchase and Luis is happy to sign copies for guests as well.
