Join us at the Brooklyn Apothecary on Monday March 30th at 7pm for an evening exploring meaningful ritual and collective compassion.
In this workshop, we will move between learning, personal reflection, and collective ritual creation. Together, we’ll explore grief practices from diverse human traditions as well as the wisdom of the more-than-human world, using them as inspiration and guides for creating meaningful rituals.
Through guided discussion, quiet contemplation, and collaborative creativity, participants will explore which ritual elements feel authentic, supportive, and personally resonant. You will be invited to reflect on your own relationship to grief and consider how intentional ritual can help hold loss, transition, remembrance, and transformation.
Part of our time together will be devoted to co-creating a shared ritual space, allowing us to experience how grief can be witnessed and supported in community while still honoring individual experience. You will also leave with ideas, frameworks, and practices to help you design or deepen a personal grief ritual of your own.
Please bring any items that feel sacred or meaningful to you to temporarily place on our collective altar (all items will be returned to you): memento mori, photographs, objects from nature, or personal talismans. You may also wish to bring a notebook and pen to record reflections and ideas for your own ritual practice.
All forms, expressions, and stages of grief are welcome. No prior ritual or spiritual experience is needed.
- Healing Heart tea blend provided.
-Guests also receive 15% off Anima Mundi products in store.
Space is limited please purchase tickets in advance. Refunds accepted up to 24 hours prior unless event is otherwise cancelled.
**Robin Silver is an ecopsychologist, threshold guide, and death doula whose work centers on life transitions, ritual, and nature-based healing. Robin’s approach is rooted in the understanding that psychological, emotional, spiritual, physical, and ecological wellbeing are inseparably linked, and that tending to all is essential for transformation.
Robin holds an MA in Transpersonal Ecopsychology from Naropa University, along with certification in mindfulness instruction in the lineage of Chogyam Trunga Rinpoche. Her master’s thesis focused on the role that fear of death plays in the polycrisis (specifically the climate & mental health crises), and how to use ancestral practices and connection to the rhythmic cycles of nature in overcoming that fear.
