Do you know that drinking water or a tea (non caffeinated) after a massage is highly recommended? It helps the body eliminate substances that we release during massage. When we are massaged, the circulatory and blood system starts, producing the elimination of sweat, minerals and other substances from the muscle cells. By supplying water to the body once the massage is finished, it helps to eliminate these substances; otherwise they could be accumulated between the muscle fibers and cause muscle pain. Psychologically, drinking a cup of tea after the relaxation of the massage helps us to return gradually to the earth. If the experience has been very relaxing the mind can really fly very far and at the end of the massage many of us feel somewhat disoriented. Drinking a good tea, will help you return to reality in a smooth and pleasant way. Enjoy! 🍵 🙏

It’s no coincidence that Sunday is Sun-day 🌞Monday, is Moon-day 🌜Saturday, is Saturn-day 🪐… Where did these names come from and what do they really mean? I know many of you will be like ah, another hippied out concept that HAPPENS to overlap! Nope... this ancient organization of time, *actually* traces back to some pretty impressive cosmological observations! 🌜 ⌛Many astrologers believe that planetary days and hours are the secret to being at the right place at the right time. They have been used for centuries in many cultures to determine the most auspicious times for performing specific tasks, such as religious rites, rituals, and planting crops.🍃 From herbalists deciding how to strengthen their medicines, to alchemists looking for portals to maximize the effects of a specific planet and energy, planetary days and hours have remained trusted tools for planning, projecting and manifesting.💫 In our modern world, planetary days and hours are essential to understand and integrate to assist our spiritual practice, but more importantly, our practical day-to-day actions. Tap the link in ✨ b i o ✨ to explore our full guide to using planetary days and hours to bring more abundance into your life! 🌜⌛If you’re new to astrological timing, it may take a while to understand which combination of planetary influences is best for your intentions. For example: + Mars-ruled Day (Martes | Tuesday) combined with a Solar Hour could be what you need to finally finish that project you’ve been slacking off. Or, suppose you’ve been having trouble changing a habit; maybe using the Day of Saturn (Saturday) and a Venus Hour could help you find that balance between discipline and indulgence. Keep track of your progress with a journal, and experiment by combining planetary influences. Do you use the planetary days and hours to inspire intentions, events, etc?! #astrology #herbalism #cosmos #divinetime #time #theillusionoftime #archetypal #herbalist #kitchenwitch #witchesofinstagram #mindbodysoul #apothecary

🍽️✨ Wondering why you crave certain foods? In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), cravings aren’t random—they’re your body’s way of communicating what it needs. Balance is key, and incorporating the five flavors—sweet, salty, spicy/pungent, sour, and bitter—into your diet can harmonize your body’s energies and promote overall health. Here’s what your cravings might be telling you, plus herbs and foods to stay balanced: 1. Sweet Cravings 🍫: Your body needs more energy or comfort. Herbs: Licorice, Astragalus, Fennel, Goji Berry. Foods: Pumpkin, Honey, Sweet Potato, Melon, Dates. *Try naturally sweet foods like fruits and whole grains. Balance your spleen energy with warm, cooked foods. 2. Salty Cravings 🧂: Indicates a need for more minerals, related to kidney and bladder energy. Herbs: Nettle, Seaweed, Cleavers, Horsetail. Foods: Celery, Miso, Fish, Umeboshi. *Opt for mineral-rich foods like seaweed and leafy greens. Stay hydrated and support your kidneys with warm soups and stews. 3. Spicy/Pungent Cravings 🌶️: Your body is trying to stimulate digestion or dispel cold and dampness. Herbs: Turmeric, Ginger, Garlic, Mustard Seed. Foods: Onions, Radishes, Chili Peppers, Wasabi. *Incorporate warming spices like ginger and garlic to boost metabolism and improve circulation. 4. Sour Cravings 🍋: Indicates a liver imbalance or need for detoxification. Herbs: Rosehips, Hibiscus, Schisandra, Hawthorn Berry. Foods: Citrus, Vinegar, Cranberry, Green Apple. *Enjoy foods like lemons and fermented vegetables to cleanse your liver. 5. Bitter Cravings 🍵: Your body needs to clear heat or toxins, often related to heart health. Herbs: Dandelion Root, Oregon Grape, Burdock, Chamomile. Foods: Dandelion Greens, Bitter Melon, Endive, Kale. *Include bitter foods like dark leafy greens and herbal teas to cool the body and support your heart. Cravings are a natural part of life and can guide you toward a more balanced state. Trust your body and nourish it with intention. #tcm #traditionalchinesemedicine #healing #guthealth #herbalism #cravings #holistic #holistichealth
