Cacao Circle: Duality through union

Date
Time

Join us at the Alchemist Kitchen Elixir Bar in Soho On Sunday July 26th at 7pm for a cacao ceremony where we will examine themes of self- worth, community service, spiritual embodiment, and creative expression!

This plant medicine circle with cacao we will examine themes of self worth, community service, spiritual embodiment, and creative expression. In western astrology, we are moving from Mercury Rx in Cancer towards a solar eclipse in Leo, demonstrating that the ways in which we care for ourselves directly  influences the capacity and quality of our self-expression.

Weaving breath-work, somatics, and ancestral practices, we will first harmonize our hemispheres before connecting with the ancient art of candle gazing, working with candles as a way to cleanse, set intentions, and connect to our inner fire. In the Mayan Lunar calendar we are present under the energies of 3 Kan, the  feathered serpent and kundalini force of energy that lies within. It is through  conscious connection to this inner light of awareness that we may begin to expand  into our elemental Self, brining balance by liberating obstructed energies which  desire to be made manifest.

Cacao is a medicine held sacred by the Maya whose connection to this plant spans over 5,000 years, during which time, they have cultivated a profound relationship  with the energy and spirit of Cacao. They receive her as an offering brought forth from another dimension. As a humble student beginning to integrate this ancient  wisdom, Elisabeth serves this medicine in full recognition of and reverence to her teachers, Mayan Cosmology, Community, and Culture.
