Mitragyna speciosa is a tropical evergreen tree in the coffee family (Rubiaceace). Depending on the strain and quantity used, it can either be mildy euphoric/stimulating, or more sedating. The wildcrafted strain that we carry comes from a beautiful friend's farm of older growth trees in Indonesia. The strain is known as 'Red Kali' which can be an excellent solution for pain management and deep relaxation. 

Red Kali (Mitragyna speciosa) has a long history as a folk remedy for muscle pain, fever, coughing, hypertension, fatigue, depressive moods, and more. In modern times it has been used to treat opiate withdrawal, anxiety, chronic pain, and to boost the endurance of manual laborers. Despite its proscribed status in several countries, Red Kali is still consumed socially during community gatherings in the Asian tropics.* [R]
