Ingredients:
90 g sweet almond oil
10 g beeswax
45 g Rose Water Beauty Myst @animamundiherbals
45 g Palo Santo Water Protection Myst @animamundiherbals
✨Method:
Combine sweet almond oil and beeswax in double boiler.
Melt to combine.
Remove from heat and begin to whisk.
Add rosewater and palo santo water to mixture.
Whisk until light and fluffy. 2-5 minutes
Store is an airtight glass container in the fridge for up to 3 months.

If you are still stuck in “I can’t find anything to be grateful for”, let’s revert to the basics - like being grateful to have access to heat during the winter months.
My building’s boiler broke in the middle of the night (and this is still the case). Hence, my morning gratitude affirmations in this morning’s journal entry. I know that the building will get this fixed within the day, but it’s an important reminder of how much not having this basic need impacts me. It also makes me think of the homeless people I’ve interacted with during the tangible acts of kindness Friday’s challenge we did. This is routine for them. I knew that, but I empathize even more deeply in my current state.
To keep it short, remember there is ALWAYS something to be grateful for, and starting your day out with gratitude affirmations will always put you in a positive shift. I can choose to be miserable and pissed until it’s fixed, or practice gratitude in regards to the fact that I know it WILL be...and in the meantime, I have warm clothes, a warm bed, and Mari’s fuzzy furry self to keep me comfortable until then.

I've openly shared with many of you that I have been diagnosed with Narcolepsy, an excessive daytime sleepiness disorder. As challenging as it was to have dealt with this for a while and not know I had such a condition til this year, I now seek products that help stimulate my brain naturally. The medication I was given to by my doctor, led me back to a really deep depressive state of mind and i was unstable with my thoughts. Je suis une véritable afficionada des huiles essentielles pour les bobos du quotidien, que je valide à 100%, en revanche j'ai été nettement moins convaincue, si ce n'est carrément déçue par les fleurs de Bach (je sais que ça fonctionne pour certain.e.s d'entre vous, mais clairement pas pour moi). En ce qui concerne les produits d' animamundiherbals , découverts sur le gram, j'ai mis du temps avant de passer ma première commande. Je suis d'abord aller écouter plusieurs podcasts, auxquels la fondatrice adrianaayales avaient participé, et j'ai épluché son site et ses articles en long en large et en travers, séduite par son approche, j'ai shoppé ce qui me semblait pertinent pour moi. Je suis conquise !🏷️

🌿 L'approche de la marque est l'idée que je me fais de l'utilisation optimale des plantes et des savoirs ancestraux. On est loin d'une approche purement commerciale et il y a des sentiments derrière, et surtout des gens ! Adriana lutte contre l'appropriation culturelle et défend le travail des locaux! Je pense à beaucoup de choses, et nottament au palo santo, qui nous a envahi dans un ras de marée mystico-New age, dans lequel j'ai aussi eu ma part a joué, et j'en suis revenue! ✨ J'ai testé les produits suivants : Energia, Euphoria, Mucuna, Blue Lotus, et le protection myst. Il me reste à tester Happiness. Je suis absolument séduite par TOUS les produits ! Mention spéciale pour l'élixir Energia qui m'a vraiment aidé à maintenir une énergie constante et a palier aux coups de mous. La Mucuna, genre de dopamine naturelle fait des merveilles en smoothies, nous vous en proposerons au cafecontresort . Les propriétés calmantes du Blue Lotus sont avérés, et Euphoria est un excellent élévateur de mood. Quant au Protection Myst...

Lucid Dreaming 🌙✨ A lucid dream is when you wake up to the fact that you’re dreaming, but you still remain in the dream. It’s in this magical instant of awakening that everything changes. You go from the ordinary sleep state to super consciousness. The conscious mind is winding down, and the subconscious mind is activating, creating a bridge, and you’re standing in the middle.

There are a number of techniques you can apply via your “dream body” to stimulate your senses and reconnect to the fabric of the super-conscious mind. The ones above are classics, and there’s many others mental practices that enable awakening (more tips on the blog!)

Who else feels deeply the 4AM magick hour? 👁🔮👁For those of you pro dreamers or beginners, this is a potent practice to begin practicing visualization and lucid sleep. Another great tip for step #6 is drinking the leftover dream herb brew you made and sip half asleep at 4am before you enter meditation / lucid dreaming. .
