Join us for a workshop on Saturday, January 18th from 4pm-7pm at our Venice Apothecary that will help you get started with baking your own sourdough bread at home!

During our time together, you’ll make your very own mature sourdough starter and learn how to maintain it. We will talk about the history of sourdough and cover each step in the baking process. Lastly, we will shape dough for you to take home and bake your very own loaf of bread! Each guest will also receive a digital tips & recipes packet and access to The Sourdough Mama Facebook group.

Katrina Niesen is a former teacher and mother to her three-year-old daughter. She has always had a passion for cooking and baking. She finds sourdough to be the perfect artistic medium for scoring intricate patterns on a loaf of bread. She regularly teaches others the art of sourdough and is well known on social media for her inspiring bakes.
