Facial Gua Sha Through a TCM Lens

Join us at the Brooklyn Apothecary on Monday February 10th at 7pm for a special evening of learning: Facial Gua Sha Through a TCM Lens & Tea for Skin Health.

Facial gua sha is a simple and effective way to release tension, boost circulation, and move lymph. Join us for this engaging workshop where you’ll learn how to perform facial gua sha as a self-care practice while exploring its roots in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

• A brief history of gua sha from a TCM perspective

• Understanding contraindications and proper skin preparation

• Step-by-step techniques for lymphatic drainage and tension release

• Hands-on demonstration and practice session

Participants will receive a handout summarizing the workshop content, including tips for integrating facial gua sha into their routine. Participants will also be able to redeem $40 off their first Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture treatments with the host, Dr. Lauren Grisanti ($195 value).

Optional Materials:

Gua sha tools can be purchased for those who don’t have their own. We recommend the collagen oil and gua sha bundle for an optimal experience, though participants are welcome to bring their own materials.
