Join us at the Brooklyn Apothecary on Wednesday July 29th at 7pm for a blended tarot and herbal deep dive. Integrate the archetypes of Leo Season to their supportive Herbal Remedies. 

The fire element of Leo season makes its presence known in July, encompassing a boldness of courage and dynamism.  In the tarot, we understand Leo's energy through the Minor Arcana "wands" cards, as well as Major Arcana card, "Strength." Drawing these cards in a reading allows for a correlating herbal prescription to harness the energy, stoking the inner flame of passion and creativity, as well as keeping it in balance from overwhelm and burnout; typical for summer heat and a busy social life.

In this class you will learn about the connection between drawing these cards and working with medicinal plants that both fortify, cool, and ground these fiery energies. All levels of experience with the Tarot and Plant Spirit Healing are welcome as we are accompanied by a specially curated herbal tea blend to support this journey.

Jacqueline Zajdman is a visual artist, herbalist, and writer. She combines her vision of Plant Spirit Medicine, integrating earth advocacy with the tarot and storytelling as a form of healing. In 2016 she launched As Above Herbals, a holistic medicine line and educational platform curating workshops, readings and products from New York, Los Angeles and Mexico. As a student of Western Herbalism and Earth Advocacy under the teachings of Robin Rose Bennett in New York and the Gaia School of Healing in California, she has taught Plant Spirit Medicine at the Rising River Wisdom School and has read the tarot for clientele all over the world.
