Candida is a type of fungus that everyone has on their skin and in their body. Usually, bacteria in our bodies keep it under control and Candida causes no problems, but if it overgrows, it can cause an infection. Candida infection, or candidiasis, most commonly affects the mouth, skin, digestive system, or vagina. Taking antibiotics, and similar medications, having a weakened immune system, and smoking are just some examples that can develop a Candida infection. Symptoms include mouth sores, pain when urinating, vaginal discharge, and digestive problems.

How to Use:

Simmer 2tbsp of Pau D'arco in 4 cups of water until about half of the volume evaporates in the pan. Keep this throughout your day in a glass container, to drink throughout the day. It is easier to simmer once and keep for the day, or simmer enough for 2 days, keep in fridge and enjoy throughout the day. Calculate about 3-4tsp per day (4-6cups) of Pau d'Arco per day if on a Candida cleanse. 

Enjoy Gynostemma tea in the AM and/or PM. Steep in hot water for 5minutes. Strain and enjoy this nourishing tea alone, or add a splash (1-2oz of infusion) of your Pau D'arco Decoction.  

Use Amargo Bitters 3x per day, 30min before meals, or with a liquid meal of choice (green juice, candida-friendly smoothies, broth or soup etc).
