How much alcohol is in this product?

Hi there, thanks for checking. We use organic cane alcohol (distilled from sugarcane) in our extraction process, as alcohol extracts many beneficial compounds within herbs very well. Our tonics are about 85% alcohol and 15% vegetable glycerin.

Do we steep the entire glass bottle to dissipate alcohol?

Something you can do if you are avoiding consumption of alcohol is to dilute the tonic in hot water and let it sit for 5 minutes before drinking. That will burn off the alcohol but maintain the potency of the extract.

How long does it take for this product to work?

Hi Molly, The general rule of thumb is 2 weeks of consistent use for a product to take effect, but this depends on many factors: diet, your body's history, mindset, the plant(s) you're taking, and beyond. Although you might not be feeling anything, know that your body is generating an adaptation and response! Sometimes it can take at least a month for effects to become apparent.

I saw that you use sugar cane alcohol, is it real alcohol? affects this, so I can not drive?

Hi Elgstrand! We choose to use Sugar Cane because it is a highly sustainable source, perhaps the highest, to distill alcohol from. Our certified organic cane alcohol is 100% organic and non GMO, adhering to highest standards of pharmaceutical purity. When following the recommended dosages, the cane spirits we use in our products do not make it unsafe to drive. If you are sensitive to alcohol, we suggest either steeping our tonics or elixirs in hot water for a few minutes to dissipate the alcohol, or choose from our line of powder products.
