- Thank you for your question! Yes, you can rehydrate our Coconut Creamer to use as a substitute for canned coconut cream in cooking and baking. Simply mix the creamer with warm water to reach your desired consistency. Start with about 1 tablespoon of the creamer per 2-3 tablespoons of water, adjusting as needed for thickness. This should work well in most recipes where coconut cream is required. If you need a richer consistency, you can add a bit more creamer until you achieve the desired texture.

- Yes, this is a great question: up until a few years ago, we were able to bring in 100% organic Coconut, but new regulations with the FDA changed that. Some of the regulations had to do with the fact that Coconut does go rancid easily when exposed to high heat among other things, and there was a concern of it going rancid in transit. The FDA required that maltodextrin (or something similar) be added at a minimum of 1.5% to the product to help prevent the Coconut from going rancid. We added the Acacia bark to prevent/minimize clumping, but overall the quality is as pure as we are legally able to bring it into the USA.
