Plant Magic Writing Circle

Join us for a writing workshop dedicated to awaken your creative intuition through the medicine of plants on Saturday, December 5th from 12:15p-1:30pm in our Venice apothecary.

The guided meditations and writing prompts will support you in clearing away writer's block and discovering plant allies uniquely available to support your creative journey.

What if the missing piece to our creative writing practice was herbalism? In this intimate, embodied herbalism and creative writing circle, we'll heal our inner writer and reconnect with our authentic writing voice through the love, wisdom and magic of plants. Elif Fatima will guide each participant to discover plant allies that are uniquely aligned with their creative path. No prior herbalism or writing experience is necessary, only curiosity, play and wonder. We'll move through 3-5 writing prompts and guided meditations to embody our authentic writing and build a deeper relationship with nature and herbs to continue our writing and healing path in joyous and expansive ways.

About Elif

Elif Fatima holds an MFA in Screenwriting for Film/TV, she creates in the intersections of film, writing and earth-based spiritual practices. Her short films have screened at several international film festivals including Montreal, Berlin, Paris and Los Angeles. Her film and writings explore mysticism, nature, inter-generational healing and uncovering magic in the mundane. She is an initiated Sufi healer by way of her Sufi grandmother and a certified advanced energy healer by way of Cyndi Dale's (author of advanced chakra healing) rigorous energy healing program. She originally created Plant Magic Writing to get herself out of writer's block and after writing several short stories and finding new success in her creative voice, she decided it's time to share this with her beloved community at Anima Mundi!
