Rising Appalachia is an internationally touring folk ensemble steeped in the soul of the South. It is the brainchild of Atlanta-raised sisters Leah Song and Chloe Smith, rooted in the rich musical traditions of their family and their journey into song as performers, writers, and song catchers.

Rose petals have been used for centuries and renowned for its many healing benefits. Due to its high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties its been used internally and externally for skin: assisting in eliminating infections, redness, breakouts, as a toner and for wound healing. It's also classically used as an aphrodisiac and heart healer.

Blue Lotus

The Blue Lotus has been a highly revered plant across the world, particularly in ancient Egypt. It has a long recorded history as a Heal-All ancestral flower in mythological texts and creation stories. Although often considered a nervous system tonic (nervine), it also has lymph decongestant properties and uterine tonifying effects.

In India, Holy Basil is regarded as the incarnation of Vishnu, and is also the favorite of Krishna and Lakshmi, the goddess of prosperity. Tulsi often has a special place in the courtyard of Hindu families, whose daily routines may include worship of this plant: ritual watering and offerings of incense and food. Its leaves are often taken as a sacrament.
