Stop by the Brooklyn Apothecary on Monday August 24th from 6-7pm to sample our new Kanna mocktails. Learn about the wonderful plant that Kanna (Mesembryanthemum tortuosum, or Sceletium tortuosum) a small succulent plant native to South Africa. Indigenous Khoisan peoples have used it for centuries to ease anxiety, elevate mood, reduce hunger, and boost endurance.
Each month we'll be highlighting a different herb for social hour. Learn about new allies, connect with other plant lovers, and chat with our resident herbalists. Bring your questions and curiosities!
