We are honored to offer this rich, grounding Vetiver essential oil distilled from the roots of Chrysopogon zizanioides grass grown in Haiti. Renowned for its deep, earthy scent with sweet, rooty undertones, Vetiver is widely used in traditional perfumery, aromatic rituals, and self-care blends.

Vetiver’s aroma evokes forest floor and sun-warmed earth—making it a beloved base note in natural perfumes and an anchor in diffuser blends. Traditionally valued for its grounding presence, it is often incorporated into massage oils, meditation blends, and body care rituals to invite stillness and embodied calm.*

Vetiver roots also play a remarkable ecological role: they are used to stabilize soils and prevent erosion—mirroring their aromatic use in practices that seek emotional steadiness and sensory rootedness.

SUGGESTED USE + STORAGE

Massage or Perfume Oil: The deliciously rich, sensuous and earthy aroma of Vetiver is one of nature’s most attractive perfumes. Being a very strong base note, Vetiver can easily overtake other oils. For perfumery fixative purposes, when combining oils it is recommended to limit Vetiver to 5% of the total essential oil content. This oil is also extremely tenacious; one drop of Vetiver can linger on the skin for many days.

Other Suggested Uses:

To sooth and support hot, red or dry skin, add a drop of Vetiver oil to your favorite chemical-free, unscented face or body cream or oil.

To reduce the heated effects of too much sun, add two drops of Vetiver oil to tepid bath water and soak, or apply (diluted) onto skin for a cooling effect.

Store away from heat and light.
