Vata Herbs for Fall Transition with Arielle
As the weather temperatures become cooler for fall come join us at the apothecary September 27th at 7pm as we enter the season of "Vata" in ancient Ayurveda aka "The Science of Life" a 5000 year old holistic system from the Vedic age. Ancient systems of healing tell us that we can experience the perception of the universe outside ourselves through our 5 senses and this impacts the mind and body. In Vata season, it is the season where imbalances can include insomnia, dry skin, arthritis, cold and flu, constipation, high blood pressure, coughing, anxiety, and depression. In this workshop we will discuss herbal remedies, methods and foods that pacify these Vata experiences to stay centered and vital during the Fall season. Each individual attending should feel more confident in their use of herbs for supporting themselves and their communities.
