Although almost the entirety of this very special tree is used medicinally, we supply fresh ground leaves as that's what most traditionally used. Yet the seeds, bark, fruit, roots and leaves have all been used for centuries in the rainforest within medicinal preparations. Yet, unfortunately soursop became a controlled substance by big pharma and FDA, once anti-cancerous research was peaking a couple decades ago, due to the potential side effects it might cause when taken in large doses and long term. Some studies have shown how it might cause nerve damage, tremors, or symptoms like neuropathy when taken over an extensive period of time.
