Iridology is the science and practice of reading the irises. Iridologists study the fibers, colors, pigmentations and where they are located in the iris. These features reflect the individual’s genetic makeup, and the strengths and weaknesses of their physical bodies. By looking at the irises we are able to see the genetic weaknesses and strengths we are predisposed to & possibly things we can do to help prevent manifest or if they are manifesting - helping them to prevent it from going further. 

Holistic Iridology®, the system of Iris Analysis developed by Dr. David J. Pesek, Ph.D, includes and goes beyond the physical. Through this advanced system, it is possible to understand the whole person. Mental, emotional and spiritual aspects can also be interpreted using an eye chart. Holistic Iridology is a tool of assessment in conditions and levels of health - we don’t diagnose - the eyes reveal genetic predispositions. Holistic Iridology CAN reveal emotional mood swings, toxic accumulations in the body, hereditary influences from father, hereditary influences from mother, conscious thoughts & emotional patterns, lymphatic/immune system congestion, inherently strong organs, glands and other tissue structures. 

Jessica Ortiz: I started looking for alternative and natural ways to help heal from various health issues in my early twenties after being diagnosed with post-menopausal ovarian failure. I chose to take the holistic route and heal myself naturally. I started healing my mind and body and my appreciation for natural approaches increased. Years later, while taking a detoxification course I asked the universe for guidance and it led me to Iridology. After researching many schools and certification programs I decided to study under Dr. David J. Pesek, Ph.D who puts an emphasis on the spiritual, mental and emotional aspects of healing. Reflecting on my journey and recognizing that those elements were crucial when recovering from grief I knew this new opportunity was the next level to my evolution. I studied and attained my certifications at the International Institute of Iridology. I earned my Diploma of Holistic Iridology® after completing 3 levels (Fundamental, Intermediate, and Advanced Holistic Iridology®) under Dr. David J. Pesek, Ph.D. I live in Los Angeles with my family. When I'm not working, I'm homeschooling my son, hiking, and cooking. Life can get pretty busy, but I truly enjoy connecting with others who are ready to heal. Let's work together to bring harmony and balance into our inner world so we will then affect everyone and everything around us.
