We're deeply honored to host master chef Adriana Urbina at our Brooklyn location!!

Join us at the Brooklyn Apothecary on Friday July 19th at 7pm to learn how to make a delectable hormone-balancing reishi coconut cacao mousse with rose powder in a nectarine cup. (Nut & Gluten-free, Dairy-free). Learn the basics on making hormone balancing and healthy deserts, and ways to integrate medicinal foods into them. 

Chef Adriana will guide you step by step to create this unique dessert, which not only bursts with flavor but also offers hormonal balancing benefits, that supports skin glow, mood swings, energy levels, and much more! 

She will be using key ingredients such as reishi mushrooms, pure organic cacao powder, dried flowers brought from Italy like verbena and hierba Luisa, plus coconut, rose powder, nectarines and other secrete ingredients. Chef Adri will explain the science behind building flavor and nutrition in every bite.


Class details. 
  • 7pm: Welcome mocktail  
  • 7:20pm - 7:55pm: Cooking Demo (Adriana will prepare the dessert and explain all of the nutritional benefits and provide hormonal balancing tips) 
  • 7:55pm: Decorating dessert together,  each participant will decorate their own dessert - Adriana will provide plating tips
  • 7:55-8:30pm: Eating together + Q&A

Bio: 
Adriana Urbina is an award-winning master chef and wellness consultant, specializing in hormonal and gut health, with over a decade of experience in the culinary world.  

Most recently, she competed on "Tournament of Champions" with Guy Fieri, "Beat Bobby Flay," and "Triple Threat" with Bobby Flay. She is a three-time winner of the cooking competition "Chopped" on Food Network.
