Join us at the Brooklyn Apothecary on Monday July 21st at 7pm for an intimate poetry circle- a space to share words, express internal thoughts, vulnerabilities and listen to resonant voices as we sip on cooling, calming herbal tea. Sit or lay down and feel inspired by internal recognition articulated and mirrored back into the collective.

Bring a piece of writing you're working on, or a classic text that speaks to you. Write a poem for the first time?! Workshop a new idea, or a challenging topic. voice your grief. No formal writing experience necessary.

This is an evening to tune into the senses somatically, without distraction. Feel how your body receives and responds. Here is a space to drop into full presence in a comfy supportive space; to be with the herbs and the words. Fill your soul through creative expression and inspiration.

We gather to bear witness to each other in the ways we experience existence, catharsis, hope, joy, pain and beauty; share lyrical reflections in an intentional container. Let your voice and your words be heard without needing to “perform” Your perspective matters and we welcome all parts of you.

Chloe is a storyteller, ritualist, poet, performer, herbal student, space holder, event coordinator and Thai bodywork practitioner. She has years of experience leading monthly moon circles and is currently tuning into the collective need for more spaces of self expression and reflection. Chloe's background in immersive and ritual theatre gave rise to her own voice and style of writing directly in relation with the cycles and themes ofd nature. She regularly performs at Lightening society's artist salon and loves to collaborate with musicians and artists of other mediums.
