A perfect valentines evening cocktail to share with your loved ones.
Make your cocktails ultra delicious, medicinal and actually better for you by adding medicinal herbs. Weather you want it alcohol free or with some artisan spirits, you can enjoy the delight of crafting a conscious and delicious cocktail. It's really exciting to see talented mixologists and bartenders using high quality medicinals within their bars, crafting a one of a kind experience with ultra fresh ingredients.
There are tons of fresh herbs, fruits, veggies, artisan spirits that you can pick from. Adding medicinal herbs to your drink not only boosts up the healing power, it also is better for the body. Trust me, your liver will be grateful!
Get as creative as you desire. If you don't have an ingredient, substitute for something that is in season and readily available around you. Also, I highly suggest never using commercial mixers, as they are so bad for you and taste pretty terrible. You can make your own infusions and have fun playing around.
Here we have a Hibiscus Euphoria Gin Tonic.
If you do not want to make this alcohol-free, I suggest substituting with Kombucha or Jun.
- Hibiscus flowers
- Sparkling water
- Fresh spearmint
- 1tsp Euphoria Aphrodisiac Elixir (increase if you'd like it stronger)
- Artisan Gin of choice (if you cant find one use Hendricks)
- Lemon Slices
This recipe is for 1 serving.
Steep the hibiscus flowers in hot water for about 4 minutes.
In a glass place some ice and add 1-2oz of gin. Substitute with kombucha or jun to make it non-alcoholic.
Add 1tsp of Euphoria Elixir.
Strain and add an ice cube or two to cool off the hibiscus water.
Add about 1/2 way of hibiscus water, and top it off with sparkling water.
Add mint leaves and a lemon slice to garnish.
