LIVER CLEANSING TAHINI Dressing Recipe

This EXQUISITE cleansing dressing is the perfect compliment to any liver cleansing routine, and it is so good, that I like to keep stocked by the jar-full in my fridge as it’s so easy to drizzle onto just about anything - veggies, greens, grains and beyond. A fun and easy liver hack that I like to do is to make this dressing once a week (it keeps for about a week in the fridge), and have your favorite veggies, grains and greens prepped and ready to roll. This way you can prep a liver friendly macrobowl in about 5 minutes, and all you need to do is place all your favorite ingredients in a bowl, drizzle your nutrient dense dressing, and you're set!

Here's a fun recipe using a gluten free beet rap, and dressed greens. Feel free to modify by adding healthy proteins of choice, grains or other liver friendly ingredients.

LIVER CLEANSING TAHINI DRESSING

SALAD FOR STUFFING:

  • 1 Cucumber seeded and cut in chunks.
  • 1 cup Baby spinach washed and drained
  • 1 cup Cooked chickpea 
  • 1/2 Sweet green pepper diced 

GREEN TAHINI DRESSING: 

  • 3 Tbsp Tahini 
  • 1tsp Liver Vitality Daily Greens
  • 1/3 cup Warm water
  • 1 minced Garlic clove 
  • 1 Tbsp Tamari (optional - sub for raw apple cider vinegar, or more lemon)
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon juice Or 1 tsp umeboshi paste 

*Optional ingredient for a richer taste.

  • 2 Tbsp capers 
  • 3 Tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika 
  • 1-2 tsp smoked dried garlic

DIRECTIONS: 

Blend all together or whisk away until silky smooth.

TORTILLAS:

These are gluten free rice-cassava beet tortillas! But just choose your fave tortilla, or make your own! This is just a fun way to wrap up a salad, but feel free to get creative and use the dressing as you like!
